Air bag fault codes flash in order of priority, so that fault code 3 is more of a priority than fault code 2 (In fact fault code 3 is #1 priority and fault code 2 is the last in order of priority. This should be the same for your model year, but check in a good reference source.
Fault code 3: Loss of air bag deployment circuit power or back-up power supply disconnected.
Visually inspect fusable link in circuit 38 (BK/O) for damage (fuse link attaches to starter relay).
Check fuse #7 (15 amp)
If either of these fuses are blow deactivate the air bag before attempting repair.
Fault code 2. Make sure all of the sensors are properly connected and that the diagnostic monitor is properly connected. Agaiin, deactivate the air bag system before fooling with these connections. Your sensors are new so the ohms test for the sensors should not be necessary but, the sensors should read between 1000 and 1300 ohms when tested. The test can be done at the sensors, between the pins, and at the diagnostic monitor using the corresponding (sensor) wire sets eg right PK/O and P/LG, left W/Y and T/BK, center PK/W and P/LB.
