Just wondering if these systems are tied together. Since I have had the car the cruise control has not worked. I also gets 9 flashes on the airbag light. Just wondering if this is what might be causing the cruise control not to work. I have owned cars that the cruise control would not work on because the check engine light was on. Just wondering if this is a possibility. Gonna try to get the airbag light fixed in the next couple of days. From the only previous post I could find about 9 flashes it looks like a bad ground for one of the sensors. Anyone else had 9 flashes?

Thanks

They are in the sense that the wiring for both goes through the clockspring on the top of the steering column. Otherwise, no they are not tied together.
