My TB isn't not opening up fully! The throttle cable has strecthed, when I have the gas pedal to the floor, the TB hasn't opened up to WOT at all. There's an extra inch, inch/half in the cable, I see where it connects to the pedal, any ideas and bringing up the slack?
**** yeah I'm excited to find it! Now, I wonder would that cause stalling?

Yeah you should be able to adjust it, look by the TB where the wire is attached, Im not 100% sure about this though.

I always thought the cable was NON-adjustable. You might have to replace it. Its just a pin and a slot.

Any idea where to find a cable for cheap? New, not used, but without paying Ford prices!

Well I was thinking of just adding some nuts or something to where the cable meets with the pedal

Took care of the slack! I put in a metal plate on the pedal to pick up the slack, I think I got most of it, and it was only $.77 to fix

Results? I only stalled it once nailing the gas at idle! It won't die out on me now! And the SHO feels much more responsive! Louder at WOT, the TB should be opening up all the way now, if not, really close to it and it is FASTER!!!
