aftermarket tach

Is there any special needed to run an aftermarket tach off a sho electronics???? This is for a swapped car so the only electronics is the engine harness so I just can tap inot the old line

i believe there is an option when ordering that says for use with distributorless systems. its called a tach adapter.

also wanted to ask if your doing an aftermarket speedo also?

No, just tag into the DIS tach wire. I'm running an Autometer Pro Comp II myself.

Ill be using an indash tac and speedo, the speedo will be electric driven from a sensor on the intermediate shaft.
