I was wondering if anybody has put an aftermarket dash in their SHO, instead of putting the indiglo's overlays? Personally something like this in a SHO would be awsome, why do Mustangs always get the good stuff. :(

There are aftermarket guages sets like that. They are generic sets used for custom installs,so they will work in virtually any car.

I was wondering if anymody had any pics of them installed in the dash? I think it would be more of a clean look, instead of having duplicate gauges all over the car giving you the same info (just more accurate.) Ford OE digital dashes are hard to read and don't give you all the necesary info.

Yamah SHO: Your dad has a sweet Monte Carlo, Looks like it would rock on the strip. Also your SHO is one of the cleanest I have seen. thumbs_u

jthomas68: I know that I can have them custome made, just tell them what I want and send them an instrument cluster for them to install. But I would like to know if someone has done it before and how it looks/accuracy?

ShoGuy93: If you don't like them, thats ok, I was just hoping for some feedback from people that do like them/have them.

I have them in my 86 Monte Carlo and they work great, they even have a seting for 0-60 time and 1/4 time and speed, havent tried that one out yet. I think they would look awesome in a SHO except that all the backlighting wouldn't match with the rest of the accesories anymore. You can have them custom made by dakota digital for aorund $800 I think but like you said you would have to send them your entire cluster, but I have heard nothing but great reviews for dakota digital stuff. Plus you can get it in different colors.

Here are some pics. http://www.angelfire.com/retro/zerog/monte/index.html
