thats why im sticking to the Hypertech.you know you can pick older slow laptops on e bay for like $150-$200Saleen SHO said:Chips Avalible:

And i think that there is a SCT tuner from FPS avalible as well... not too sure though.
I have heard a few good reviews for the Hypertech. But the Superchip is a bad choice allthogether. Have yet to hear any one use a JEt Chip.
Im thinking of getting a Hypertech.
But for a couple hundred more you can get Tweecer. Thats were its ALL at. However you will need to get a Lap top...thats why im sticking to the Hypertech.

You don't even need a laptop with that fast of a cpu speed. I believe it can be much lower. If you would use the laptop for the tweecer only, I'm sure you could get one to do the job for maybe around $100. Ebay would be a good place to look.LeddZepp8687 said:Really..Ive got a 1.7 GHz, 20 gig HD, 256 mb ram, an old office used laptop, WITH windows XP on it already, For a crack over 300.
Older laptops are cheap as can be
Look on ebay!![]()
For future archival reference, an SCT tuner (like the X-Cal 1 or X-Cal 2) will not work on an EEC-IV vehicle like the '89-'95 V6 SHO - these handheld, flashable units are only compatible with certain EEC-V-equipped vehicles from '96-up. For "older" EEC-IV vehicles like the '89-'95 V6 SHO, one must resort to an aftermarket "piggyback" chip that attaches tself to the J3 diagnostic port on the back of the computer.Saleen SHO said:Chips Avalible:

Also, keep in mind that, at the time of this writing, none of the chips listed above (including the newer SCT chips/tuners sold by Doug Lewis) can afford you the level of access that is possible with either a TwEECer or one of my soon-coming LPMs.![]()
