There’s no effect on performance if you VTA. A lot of folks just VTA and that’s what I did, even with EPP hot pipes I opted for stock BOV locations and just VTA. Some ppl buy the EPP hot pipes and get it with a TIAL bov as an option. FBD7A6E2 0923 4353 B196 6D72786A48BB

Unless you buy the Suction Return Kit and custom fab the return piping, this is a VTA system. If you use the kit listed, you will get the noise because it is VTA. They claim with the return kit, you will get more noise but, it will be muffled because it is going back into the stock piping.

We worked with Mike last year to begin offering this, and it is available for the SHO/MKS/Explorer Sport hot pipes. I do need to finalize pricing with him, but it is available.

I also need to follow up with GoFastBits. We worked with them last year to finalize the Gen1 F-150 BOV they offer, and it sparked conversation about developing an upgraded BOV/Bypass Valve for the SHO as well. I sent them the factory charge pipe off my car and an extra Bypass Valve so they could get dimensions and do some mock up, then got busy and never thought about it until I saw this post. It would allow you to upgrade to their mechanical/boost hybrid BOV system while reusing the factory mounts.

Off to send an email...

Thanks for that, i had read somewhere that vta wasn’t good for the sho turbo system so thanks for clearing that up!
