Where would you hook up the wire for the distributer on the Yamaha? Any help would be appreciated.

There is no distributor, hence the DIS.The plug in is a black connector with nothing on it on the passenger side of the firewall.

I knew there was no distributer but thanks for the information on the plug. Is it marked to help identify it? Is it in the area of the plug in which you can run the self test on the car? If I hook the aftermarket tach up will It quit like the stock one does if I ever have a problem with the cps? Thanks for your help.

No marks, looking at the front of the car,it`s on the left side of the firewall. It`s just a female connector with nothing plugged into it.It`s pretty visible,up on top.Yes it will still die with a bad CPS.The cps cut`s out ignition,so there`s on signal going out for a tach.
