On my 91 MTX I have the Monroe Quick-struts on all four corners. All four are brand new. I was hoping for somewhat of a stiffer ride but I keep bottoming out at fast speeds and it feels like the car rolls around corners. The Quick-Struts must not have progressive springs. I have sub-frame connectors and Strut-tower braces. Since the strut mounts and and components are new can I swap Moog springs into them? Can the Quick-struts shocks handle them?

Thanks for the help.

The quick-struts that I have purchased have all very definitely had progressive springs.

quick-struts do have sensa-trac shocks in them.

the amount of body roll you get in corners is not a strut issue, it is a sway-bar issue.

I'm getting ready to put quickstruts around my Green car and I've been thinking about swapping in some cut eibach's for the front.

Hoping the sensatrack's will be able to hold up.

These are the cut eibach's...

Can someone tell me if this spring will set my ride height right... too low? too high?

I'd rather find out before I install and put everything back together, IYKWIM!

Would you kindly share your experience with quickstruts that enabled you to form this opinion.

I'm not picking on you but if you have some experience I'd like to hear it before I put QSs on my car.:thankyou:

I used QS in the rear of my SHO a long time ago before I put the Eibachs in and I was happy with the ride but my only problem was that it sat too high in the rear so I am sure if you use Monroe QS all around your ride height will a little on the high side.

Maybe all the quick-struts do not have the same springs because the ones I have used clearly have progressive springs with a higher rate than stock SHO springs. In fact, there is a thread on here somewhere where i posted the rates.

They do sit a little higher than stock springs for a thousand miles or so until the springs settle in.

Sensatracs are significantly better than kyb in my experience, especially if you want them to last more than 10k miles.
