I want to make sure I am correctly converting my new Accel injectors over to fit the SHO. First, the fuel rail has already been modified, and the injectors fit it just fine now.
The question is where the injector meets the head. I read where I need to remove the blue plastic pintle cap, but the stock SHO rubber seal is very loose on the injector when I do this. It sounds like people have just done this succesfully, but I also see where it would make it fit better if I installed the Denso style cover on the injector. This is what I would really like to do I think, so everything fits perfectly. Where do I find these covers?
Ideas or suggestions?
