AC removal

How do I remove the AC unit and is there a smaller belt so I can keep the AC removed? And also where do I find a belt?

first thing, you gotta either gut the compressor and put it back on or build a bracket since some engineer at ford decided it should be a load bearing structure. as for the belt, just swing a shoelace around the pulleys and measure it. then take said shoelace to a parts store and have them find a belt that's really close to the same length.
