My abs light is on now. Among many things I was doing to my 95 SHO the two things that could have caused the light are: 1. I damaged the rear abs sensor and sense have replaced it with a new one. 2. I accidently drained the reservoir when bleeding the brakes. The brake fluid had been top off at the appropriate level. I have put maybe 60 miles on the car hoping the light might magically go off to no avail. I have disconnected the battery. A local mechanic told me to remove the battery, connect the positive and negative wires and let set over night to reset the computer. I tried having it scanned at O'reilly's and Autozone but they did not have the correct scanner.

I have parked the car for winter, so I have some time to figure this out. Any ideas on possible problem or does anyone know of a chain type store that might have a scanner that can read the codes?

So I used the paper clip trick and here are my codes.

On the 94 ATX:
36 - RH Front
37 - RH Rear
67 - Pump Motor Relay
76 - RH Front

One the 95 MTX:
34 - LH Rear
33 - RH Rear

So I need some help here. On the 94 ATX I was going to start by replacing the RH Front since it came up with two codes. Then on to the RH Rear. After replacing those items, I was going to take the car out and drive it around to see if that corrects the problem. If not, I guess on to the Pump Motor Relay (PMR). Can someone explain what PMR is and where it is located on the car?

On the MTX I am going to change the LH Rear first. I have already installed a brand new RH Rear, so I am a bit confused as to why it still pulls up a code. I disconnected the battery to clear the codes prior reading the codes. In addition, I checked all the connects. My plan will be to replace the LH Rear, drive it around and see what happens. Another other thoughts?

Lastly just so I make sure I have this correctly, LH means drivers side and RH means passenger side. Is this correct?
