ABS Light flashing in cycles

My 91's ABS light began flashing after startup the other day - 6 flashes, pause, repeat the cycle continuously. I shut the car off, turned it back on, it did it again. I shut it off again, and it went away. Drove it for a couple of days, and it started up again. Shut it off, and it was fine. Any clues? I figured I'd ask if it was an obvious one to someone out there, rather than grab the reader & mess with it (Jezzie's running - priorities changed).

Did you try doing a search for your problem?I seem remember this came up not to long ago.I think it was Scott(big suprise)that had the answer.I don`t know what the result was.Maybe it`ll help.

Isn't your ABS light coming on Fred? That link talks about the airbag light.

Sorry, they knew what I was talking about more than I typed. It is the airbag light. Whoops.
