ABS light, codes....

can anyone help...my abs light is on and the abs doesnt work, i checked the sensors and everything looks good, but when i put my snap-on scanner on it, it doesnt find any codes with the KOEO scan test....any help?

What year of Taurus is it? Did you pull codes off of the EEC or the ABS connection? To hazard a guess I would say one of the sensors that connect to the wheels is broke. They ride on a thing that looks like a gear right behind the disk. That tends to wear out also. Without any more info, I don't know what else it could be.

I would start simple and cheap, check the fuse. If it blows you will get the light and the abs will stop working.
