Hi Guys,
ABS Code 63 is the Pump Motor Speed Sensor error. (antilock brakes not air bag)
I have never worked on ABS and am debating whether to take this to a shop or check some thing out myself.
I was having my honda worked on and the mechanic said the thought it might be a sensor that is on the Transmission. I may have forgotten to tell him 'pump' for the with the motor speed sensor though, but I think I did.
He said there is an RPM sensor in the ATX's near where the transaxle comes in?
Does this sound like where it might be? I thought (weather permitting) I might lift the car tomorrow and check the connections as the car has recently had the ATX replaced and thought maybe the sensor just came unplugged?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Mark

p.s. this is on the 93 atx in case you didn't guess.

DTC 63 No pump motor speed sensor signal during initial check at 31 km /h (19 mph), wire harness or damaged anti-lock brake control module. Go to pinpoint test JJ

If you have your CD, go to service / brake system, anti lock / then walk through test JJ. If you run into problems, give me a call, and I can trouble shoot it for you.

Ah, thanks Mike!!! I'll (weather permitting.. blasted rain) check the harnesses first tomorrow... Otherwise, I'll need a new brake control module... sigh...
