No, SHOs do not have the same bolt pattern as mustangs. They have the same bolt pattern as some Volvo's. The SHO bolt pattern is 5X108.

The "cobra" Rs that you see are actually SVT Thunderbird wheels. :thumb:

Isnt 5X4 1/4'' the same bolt pattern as well.

In 5 x 108, the 108 is millimeters...when you convert that to inches you get 4.2519685039...so yea, 5 x 4.25" should fit....with only .002" different than the 108.

how are these wheels they said it fits shos, but are these cheap wheels or would these be good for a hard driven boosted sho? my friend bought wheels from town fair and when he was racing his car he cracked one of his wheels. he said it was from too much torque could that really happen and if so can these wheels handle it?

If the wheels don't have the proper load rating, were abused, or not torqued correctly, I could see them cracking. I dont think too much torque is the problem.

The TireRack and some other sites allow you to "try" different wheels on before you buy. Also, my local tire dealer has a computer that allows you to "slam" or raise a vehicle.

The only wheels that I have heard of getting cracks mounted on a SHO were Centerline RPM wheels. I do know that the Centerlines are rated at 1100lbs max . I am not sure what the cause of the wheel failure was, but I think 1100lbs load rating is too low for the SHO. My current wheel is rated at 1500lbs and tire is rated at 1477lbs which I feel has a good safety margin. The original tires had a load rating of 1500lbs.

The real Mcoy - Ford Motorsport SVT Thunderbird wheel: http://www.racerwalsh.com/wheels.htm

Lincoln Mark VIII owners also have the same bolt pattern:

There are "replicas" out there. Superior Wheel once made a wheel similiar to the Ford Motorsport SVT Thunderbird wheel. The Superior Wheels spec were 17" X 7.5" with an offset of 43mm.
