Since the SHO is getting sold today, I stopped the progress of my turbo project. I'm selling the car without the turbo setup. I was working on a remote(rear mount) kit, with a T3/T4 Turbonetics, but was only planning on pushing 7psi. Here are some pics of the system. All I had left was to mount the turbo to the exhaust and plumb the filter assembly.
Oil return and intake:

Yes, that's a modded SVO intercooler,which was going to have a spray bar attacehd to it:

Charge piping(mocked up,ready for clamps):

I have spent many hours reading on the different setups and spoken with many people who have the remote mount kit and know this would have been a great setup for the SHO. If I was not getting what I wanted out of the SHO, I would have kept the car and finished the project, but hey, I can always get another one later(SHO).

Can you give me the part #, Price and where to buy for that oil pump? That was the main hold up for my custom kit. What were you doing for oil scavaging after the engine was shut down? I read somewhere that a cheap turbo timer will keep the pump flowing oil to keep from starving the turbo.

BTW, nice work on the system. Show some pix of the rear mounted setup if you would. BTW how well will that oil return or supply going to the oil fill cap work? That SVO intercooler was a pretty nice idea even though 7psi and all that charge tubing won't need any more cooling. Now if the pressure was turned up to about 12+psi then heck yeah!

I was using a Tilton differential pump(available from Summit)as far as shutdown, I was just going to run the pump for 20 seconds to rid the remaining oil so that oil would not leak past the seals and smoke at restart. The oil return thru the cap would have been fine, that's where you would fill the oil anyway. I do not have any pics of the turbo installed as I was just starting to cut the exhaust to mount the turbo, when I received a call from the buyer. I took what I had installed off the car, as it was not part of the sale.
