I am getting ready to do a front 60k and replace my alternator on my 94 MTX. I am considering doing a 10% UDP for the alternator, and then doing a SHOSource UDP crank pulley.

Now, since the crank pulley is underdriven (I believe at 25%), wouldn't that mean everything else is being underdriven at the same rate? If that is the case, and I add the 10% UDP for the alternator, wouldn't the alternator be under driven at say like 35%?

Does this effect lights dimming or the alternator not being spun fast enough? I know that under driving my accessories prolongs their life, but just some thoughts. Looking for feedback, I searched, but really was unsure of how to search that out exactly.

Yeah underdrive the alternator too much and you will dim the lights. Where do you plan to get the 10% udp?

Im "double overdriven" on the crank and alternator, and the lights are dimmer at idle with a raised idle and a 130 amp alternator. It doesn't bother me at all, but with the smaller alternator, it might be too much.

I have a ud crank pulley and love it! I don't think that you would want to do both crank and alt....your lights will definately dim!
