Do not want to spend 8 hours refreshing your headlights? Here is a quick easy way to eliminate the yellowing of your headlight lens, and it only takes 5to 10 minutes a light.
Supplies- 1000 grit sandpaper
2000 grit sandpaper
A cloth
toothpaste
Meguires Scratch X
Sanding board
1. Wet sand the plastic lens with the 1000 grit sandpaper until you feel it is good.
2. Repeat the process with the 2000 grit sandpaper, only sand just a little longer.
3. Wipe with a cloth to dry.
4. Take a dry cloth and rub a good layer to toothpaste on the lens, this will make it a little milky looking but that is ok.
5. Lasly take the Meguires Scratch X and rub it into the lens. Put on a healthy layer, then wipe off like wax. You will be left with a nice clear headlight.
Sorry i have no pictures of my work to back this up. However, it worked very good and my lens now rivels that of a brand new lens.
