Thinking about installing some gauges and was interested in an A-pillar pod. I've seen this done on a couple of GIII's. I'm sure the setup these folks have used is intended for another vehicle like a Mustang or perhaps a GII(?). Does anyone know what works(with some adaptation) and what does not? Any tips or suggestions would be helpfull

IIRC it is a 94-95 Mustang coupe. But someone who knows for sure will chime in.

I believe its the 95-99 ... I know that that year Cobra will fit as well for those wishing for a 3 pillar pod.

I have them but i'll be damned if i remember which one I bought.

www.mustangsunlimited.com is where I got mine since it was right down the road from my house.

I don't have any im sorry. It does install cleanly, I drilled a hole in the A pillar cover and the A pillar itself and ran the wires that way. Took a little longer but looks a hellova lot cleaner.

I put 2 screws as well because adhesives and the tape supplied works like crap. 2 black machine head screws from your local hardware store @ .23 per should work nicely.

thanks for the compliment :thumb:

That sounds pretty easy. Do you know how I can get a pic of my SHO on my posts/signature like you have? I have a digital camera and some pics already but don't know how to copy them onto my profile.

Has anyone found a 3 gauge pod for the 2-5/8" gauges? All I've been able to find is a 2 gauge pod with the larger size, or a 3 gauge pod for 2-1/16" gauges. I'm buying a water temp and oil pressure gauge from Tman (on TCCA), and I'd like to add a transmission temp gauge to that setup.

That's a pretty large gauge to fit on an A pillar. I recently removed my pod from my gen2 and I'm very glad that I did. Now I can see when I'm making a left turn!

This is the standard in Pods for your V8-SHO. They're all 2-1/16.

Pods at E-Gauges.com

I recently installed a dual pod w/ oil pressure & tranny temp.
Painted to match interior.
Looks like stock.
