A little tune up and more....

Last month I had some off time from school and took Andi's (SHO Mama) car from her for a tune up and some other odds and ends. Well, turns out it needed some valve cover gaskets and a good cleaning. And I figured while it was apart, a special powdercoating theme was in order for the valve covers and intake, different from before. Here was her old intake.



and now the new intake.



We all know what the gaskets and such look like so there will not be any of those boring pics. And unfortunately, a little fender bender last week caused the SHO to look like this.



So back to square one and her SHO is back in my garage. It seems her car likes it better here than at her own house. Luckily, the intake and all survived, but the core support, header panel, one cooling fan, bumper, hood and one fender did not do so well.

So it's off to the next project which I will display on another thread once all is done. Anyone who is on my FB page will notice the pics right away but for those of you who are not, these are for you.

Hey Lou,

This car isn't mine. My other Gen 3s are now all gone, including the supercharged one, and I only have the Gen 4 now. This is Andi's car. It was at one time black, and then her neighbor wrecked it years ago and fixed it. He used a red SHO for donor parts and the painter didn't even take off the plate holder or the headlights, as you can tell. Good to hear from ya.

OT..Who has the silver genIV with RET on the plate? I see that one around town all the time. I'll stop by sometime and see about getting some sfc's done this summer. Have a few SHO things already on deck.
