A Few Questions

Hi all, going to be having the engine our of my car soon. Have a few quick questions I would like some input on.

I have a son and fiancee, I wont ever see the other side of 100 mph, probably. I most likely will never autocross. That being said do quite a bit of hiway driving, the main purpose for the car.

1. Looking at 24 front 26 rear swaybar upgrades. Is this too much?

2. any other mods i should do with the engine out of the car. Underdrive pulleys, reviews seem mixed.

If you stiffen up the rear end with a larger anti-sway bar it's a good idea to get a front tower brace to stiffen the front end up, too. Either that or a larger front anti-sway bar. Definitely will help balance the car out much better.

Woud love to get a FSTB, but cant find them anywhere. I know Anonda used to make them but not anymore. Any ideas?

Put some subframe connectors on it.

Paul, I wasnt aware there were subframe connectors for the gen IIIs. Who has them?

I got mine put on at FPS. They are the same as the Gen 1-2 shorty connectors. You need to box in the rear tension strut forward mount so there is something to weld too. Best suspension mod after better tires and wheels. Then FSTB, Aluminum subframe bushings and GM reinforced rear arms.or a reasonable facsimile.

Being just a highway car I would just add moog HD swaybar links, good aggresive all season tires, trans cooler, open the sax up, programing to stop the annoying TC cycle, upgrade the headlights, and get a new set of Nakamichi speakers.
