Granted I am north of the storm, it really is not too bad except for about the 10 tornados so far that have been in the area. Heres a few pics from 10:00 a.m.:


Heres a pic of the front of the house...you can see off to the right the wind blowing the plants next to me

Heres my mailbox, across the street with about 2 feet of water behind it in the drainage ditch

This is the huge drainage canal in my back yard. Normally there is at most 12 inches in it...there is easy 5-6 feet now

My digi camera sucks but here is my main electrical line that feeds the house...wind blew the pole and it is only 5 feet off the ground

I am sure Kelvin is getting more wind and rain than I am and perhaps tornados too.

Glad to see you're ok. It was nasty here this morning... lots of wind and rain and cold, but it cleared right up around noon and has been perfectly clear outside since. Still a little chilly though.
Looks like we should have good weather for this weekend!

from what I understand is in Fla. garages are not where you park your cars it's either a junk room or the spare bedroom.

Very true. There is a 4 car garage behind my house that I can't even use because my landlord keeps a bunch of crap in there.

I lost power from Monday at about 11 a.m. till today at 5:30 p.m. No damage to anything, including cars. The mocha is outside because my garage is a mess and is housing my 42" riding mower and 94 track car with no windows. I plan to clean it up within the next few weeks and get the 91 back in the garage.

Hopefully Kelvin is in good shape...he was closer to the action than I was...

Yeah we are good. Power was out until Friday and just got cable back so I can get online.

Ha, at noon until about 2 or so here, you wouldn't have been outside unless you were on the southeast side of a building. It was ripping pretty good. Everything weak was cleaned out due to the hurricanes last year, so there wasn't as much messed up here as before. The river behind my house was in my front yard for a couple days.

So all is well here and I'm glad to be back.

BTW, the SHO is fine. She was tucked away in the carport.

We had a couple of flickers of power outages, but nothing serious. We still spent the whole day playing Monopoly.
