Can you share more details as to what your symptoms were? Some folks on the FLEX site are also having A/C problems (including me) but we are having trouble isolating the root cause.

no pictures except the before and after photos i took of the front bumper when i dropped it off and picked it up. the front bumper has to come off to replace the condenser on our cars. i dropped it off and the work was done under warranty at the shop. they said it separated in the middle, making a 1/8" crack/hole. the condenser is kind of like a little radiator in the front of the car. from the way the service mngr spoke it didn't sound like a common problem... lucky me :/

how it started:
it seemed to blow smoke in the car 1 day and and then the next time i tried to use the a/c there was none...( talking a phone call so i rolled up the windows and hit the a/c so i could hear the blue tooth in the car) it just blew hot air

I think all condensers are made from recycled Bud cans. Mine blew on my G35 at about 70k and out of warranty. Apparently it is/was a common thing for them.

I think it's thin metal + high pressures of R134a and over time it weakens them until it POP's.

Had the exact same thing happen over the Summer. Heard a hissing sound coming from the front, then a little while later there was no cold air. They said condenser issue, fixed it under warranty. Here is the kicker, coming home the other day on a fairly cold Michigan day, the heat went out. First, it was totally out, then it was only the passenger and back seats out. Its is currently in the dealer getting looked at again. Been a HVAC nightmare so far with this car.

Dealer doesn't sound like they have a clue. Going to start with the blower motor. My guess is a faulty sensor or two.
