Well, I just noticed that none of the Accumulator assemblies available have the low pressure port switch on them like the OEM part. What's the deal??? So how did you guys who replaced your system get around that? Now I know that switch must sense pressure in the system or the compressor won't kick on. Am I just supposed to jump the connector?? That can't be good for the comressor if pressure drops. This is a crock. I'm so ****** at Ford for discontinuing these parts. Its a bloody nightmare!

And Ford wonders why they are loosing market share....

Oh yeah. I saw that he other day. Thanks. Believe it or not I'm going to give these guys a call tomorrow. They are my last hope.

I tried twice at Advance to acquire one of the accumulator assemblies from four seasons but both times they arrived at the store all bent out of shape. I'm not paying $120 for a damaged part.

The auto parts business in this country is frankly quite shabby. I've been appauled by the lack of correct information and incompetence on the part of vendors dury my crusades for SHO parts.

So much for putting technology to use and improving customer service. It's not happening.

Thanks Zak. I'll let you know what I find tomorrow when I call.

Zak, I called that guy from Frigidaire.com and all he had to offer was either a Visteon or AC Delco part. --Same as at Rock Auto. I passed since I don't know their reliability with customer service or prompt shipping.

Bingo!

Guys,

I hit pay dirt tonight. I found the OEM Motorcraft discharge line at OEHQ.com. I was blown away. NOBODY else has this part. Better yet, its only $85 and comes with the high pressure switch. :hdance:

They don't have every OEM A/C part but this little gem about completes my collection.

Well, I just got the dreaded "we are sorry" email from OEHQ. Like too many other vendors, they can't keep their website up to date and indicate when a part is no longer available. It still show's they have them but they don't... so don't bother calling them. Too late.
