I have the '96 Brake upgrade on the front brakes of my SHO. Is there any point in upgrading the back brakes?

No. Drums would even be enough back there. Unless you are useing the car on the track.

I had thought the '96 upgrade was all 4 wheels, have learned that I'm a dope (well, already knew that really).

I've been trying to figure out what to do, don't want to mess with my ABS or brake bias. If I understand correcty (or enough for a dope), the important point is to keep the ratios of front pistons to rear pistons to master cylinder the same.

Hope to find a four wheel solution somewhere...

jeff,
do you really want to upgrade the rear as far as size?? there is no real reason expect for looks, if you are having braking issues with your rears???? hmm try a different pad. what kind of driving do you do?? autocrossing, road course racing, street driving, drag strip??

The single most important modification I did to my brakes was the bias for the rears.

the car sits flat when I brake hard. it doesnt dive nearly at all.

And I have 13's in the front.

Good braking rules.
