After my accident yesterday that caused some damage to my car I have decided that the 96 brake uprgade would be a smart idea. I have a 94 ATX and can I get the upgrade kit with cross drilled and cross slotted rotors? Does Brembo offer something like that? What pads would be good to use and how much would all this cost? The guys at Ford are great in making their cars go fast, they just have to work on them slowing down. Thanks

You can get any rotors that fit a 1995 Lincoln Continental, or a 96 and above sho...

You can buy some loaded calipers for sometihng like $50 each, but if you want good pads I would go with performance friction carbon metalic ones. I haven't heard bad things about them.

I just went to NAPA and got loaded calipers and some Bendix rotors... no warpage yet and i'm rather ******* my brakes. Cost me about $300 for the whole setup. Well worth it IMO

was that for the front and rear brakes? Would it be worth it to replace the rear ones too?

You don't want to bias the rear as much or equal as the front. I would do the fronts only

I would like the 96 uprgade rotors that are cross drilled and cross slotted. Where would I find a good set thats not too expensive. I've heard that the Hawk brake pads are very good too, or should I go with something else? Thanks

Don't waste your money on drilled/slotted rotors. It's not worth it and is really only for looks. Just get some rotors at your favorite autoparts store.

As far as pads, Hawk HPS are supposed to be good. I have Carbotech Bobcats, and they are also worth looking into.
