I just recently install the 96 sho brake upgrade on my 1991 sho. The spindles/hubs are from a 1995 sho that I purchased from EBAY. I got the rest of the hardware from a Lincoln mark viii. The problem I am having is my factory lug nuts are too small to fit the studs on the new brake setup and I am missing some studs on my new setup. I went to Autozone and Advance auto and the studs they have are the same as my original studs. I went to a local junkyard and looked at the studs on a 1996 Mark viii and Continental and they have the same type of studs as my 1991 sho. The stud on my new brake setup are huge compared to my factory studs. Please help. What Ford front drive car has larger studs? Has anyone else had this problem?

They may have been replaced with something larger. AFAIK all SHO/Taurus studs are the same. They're not that hard to change, so worst case you can just change them all out to the regular Taurus size.

They are so much larger I don't think the regular studs will fit. I may have to get new spindles.

You might want to try going to a speed shop or one of those specialty rim shops if it's an oversized stud.
