I just got my car abck from Sams Auto in Weymouth and I have to give props to the incredible work they do there. The price is always right and the work is qality. I talked to Sam 12:30 pm today and he hadn't started work on my car yet. I get a call back at 2:30 saying my car is done. I had reinforced motor mounts put in, the brake upgrade done and a tie rod fixed alla t once. and it took him only two hours. This guy is a greatmechanic and i highly reccomend him. Well anyway back to the brakes. All i have to say is wow. People have said it is the best upgrade for the money and they are right. The cars braking feels secure and smooth and is so powerful i find myself wanting to lock up the brakes to see what they really have. All i can say is that it is a great buy. Well Talk to ya lata.

One day, my brother was riding in my car (after my upgrade) and wouldn't put his seatbelt on...so I proceded to hit the brakes and throw him into the dash!

About how much does a brake up grade run? And is a job for your typical do-it-yourselfer? I know I can't allign the car, but is it hard to replace the key parts? The upgrade is for my 92.

I didn't do the work but if you have the tools and know something about replacing brakes then it is a do it yourself kinda job. As for part numbers and places to buy go to shonutperformance.com Look under the brakes section. They have a great deal i think like $290 for a 94-95 and $395 for the 89-93 because of the different knuckles used. SHOnut is a great place to buy from they are fast adn reliable. Well good luck
