i have a 95 sho 3.2l the car starts up in the morning, sometimes it runs fine then sometimes it runs and then cuts out.sometimes it drives fine and sometimes it drives and then cuts out.i have to let it sit for a while before it starts back up.from reviewing the forum i decided to change the crank sensor.before changing the crank sensor i could always hear the fuel pump primed with the ignition turned.i replaced the crank sensor following all procedures and tried to start the car and no start.when turning the ignition i noticed that the fuel pump was no longer working.i checked the wires going to the inertia switch and i got no power.i also tried to run the self diagnostics test and it wouldnt work.the fan wouldnt start during the test either.all other power is working, the car cranks fine but wont start.i backprobed and ran a test light to the crank and cam sensors, the ignition module, and the coil and i got no power.is it the relay box above the radiator or what?i also checked all fuses.

fixed car,10 amp fuse in main fuse panel under the hood,on driver side, next to firewall.got info from one of the treads in the forum.this fuse is marked accesory and it controls the ircm relays output. if blown your cooling fan wont work, your fuel pump wont prime, you can not start the self diagnostics, and it possibly affects your ac.never thought that a 10 amp fuse marked accesory would control such sensitive parts that could prevent your car from starting.check fuse first before any troubleshooting. thanks forum members

I have the same problem right now except the fuse (new one ofcourse) keeps blowing when I start the car. Trying to figure out why it keeps blowing now.
Any ideas?

blowing fuses (like always) can be caused by a short , or something aftermarket that pulls too much current for the poor little fuse....

There are 2 10a fuses in the fuse box under the hood. The 10a fuse that was blown says ignition coil on fuse box cover. The other is for accessories. I don't know if shofur read fuse label wrong but my car is doing exactly the same thing as his was. But he does mention possible a/c connectoins to that fuse and I am having problems with my a/c compressor. I think I will try unplugging it and try replacing fuse again.

A good sign it is this fuse that is causing the engine from not starting when it turns over is trying to get codes and the tester won't read anything

Sensor for water resevoir was the problem. Disconnected the plug to the resevoir and no more blown fuses.

Goforsho, are the contacts at the end of the "coolant cap probe" (for lack of a better term) intact?
