Over the past few weeks the symptoms have become worse and worse.

The car shakes with a side-to-side sort of motion only under acceleration and more intensely the more power that is needed. As soon as you let off the gas the car coasts fine. So I'm lead to believe that it may not be a wheel bearing (although I do know the rear passenger bearing is in bad shape and needs to be repaired asap). I'm thinking more so that it is somewhere in the CV joints and my mechanic friend thought it maybe that also. What is all of your guys thoughts? Also how would I go about checking it? I have the car up on jacks now, but unfortunately its my DD.

Thanks in advance

Do you have a broken strut rod?

Is your sub-frame still in one piece? Is it tightened down?

How do your motor-mounts look?

-Sam

Don't see a broken strut rod, Subframe is in really good shape for a MI car, and the motor mounts are in ok shape for MI and had been replaced within 20k miles

As for the frame tightened down, I'm headed back out to investigate on that further
