Hey all. I'm in need of help bad. I just ran my codes and got 172, 173, 336. Here's the issue. I have changed the egr, dpfe, fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs wires, timing belt and pulleys, accessory belt alternator, maf, tps, starter, o2's, oil pressure sending unit, all seals and gaskets, rear mount, ac pulley and clutch. You get the idea, I've maintained the car like a baby. What could be causing this. No, I don't have a vacuum leak as all the hoses have been changed and the gaskets are new. I'm completely out of ideas. HELP!!

holy ****, batman, that's a lot of parts! It sounds to me like you have wiring issues. 172 and 173 are both for the right (front) side, indicating rich and lean respectively. 336 says your DPFE sensor is above the max voltage which says to me that there's a short somewhere.

The first thing I would recommend you do is clear your codes... after you do that see if the O2 codes come back, I don't really think they're causing a problem. Also, have you tried cleaning your EGR tube? They'll get clogged with crap, causing weird EGR codes. Good luck! :thumb:

Thanks, yes, I cleaned the intake when I replaced the gaskets and painted it. I will check the wiring on the DPFE sensor. When I purchased the replacement from Ford they had a different wiring connector so I had to cut and reconnect the wires. Thanks again!! And you're right on the parts, I've replaced just about everything there is. $$$$$$$$
