**SOLD**
Hey guys, I'm going to copy and paste from when Trainguy sold this car last year and update accordingly. Car is currently in Shreveport, LA.
I am selling my 94 SHO MTX in MINT condition, and EVERYTHING works great! Car has never seen a winter so it is completely rust free, and always garaged. Never been in an accident. Everything electrical is in perfect working order. I have all documentation for everything that has been done to the car.
Engine and Transaxle:
1. Reinforced Motor Mounts
2. Performance Clutch (installed within 6k miles) according to the PO. The clutch does work great.
The clutch busted on me after I bought it. It was a stock clutch. A slightly used stock clutch replacement was installed by Tim (Toolman) and has worked perfect since.
3. ShoShop under-drive pulleys.
4. New Bearings in Belt tensioners
5. New Radiator
6. Custom Oil Cooler with dual filters
7. Performance Chipped PCM
Intake & Exhaust:
1. PRO-M MAF
2. Performance Plus y-pipe with Edelbrock catback.
3. Powder coated (intake and covers)
Chassis & Suspension:
1. Eibach Lowering Springs
2. Tokico Performance Struts and Strut Mounts
3. Front and Rear Strut Tower Braces
No longer on car, were taken out to pay for delivery of vehicle.
4. Subframe connectors
5. Aluminum subframe bushings
6. Tow Package (never used to tow, added for stability)
7. Aluminum Rear Control Arms
Body:
1. 35% Black window tint all around except windshield
2. Fiberglass Cowl Hood
3. Fog light Mod
4. Fish tank mod
5. LED taillights with Grote flasher.
6. Undercoated (still has never seen snow)
7. Ultra White Fog Lamps and Headlights
8. Gen 1 Mirrors (Electric control still works)
Interior:
1. Instrument Cluster with Glow Gauge faces.
2. Phantom Autometer Gauges (mounted on drivers pillar) (OIL, TEMP, VOLTS)
3. Gen 3 SHO Floor mats
4. Kenwood Stereo System (Deck, 5 1/4's, 6x9's, Sub)
No subwoofer, was not in car when I got it.
5. Bluetooth Handsfree Phone System
Brakes:
1. Mustang GT Cobra PBR Calipers (Coated Red) (front)
2. 13" Rotors
3. EBC Yellow Stuff Pads.
4. Stock front calipers moved to rear (Coated Red)
5. Stainless steel brake lines
Other Stuff:
Viper 5901 Autostart/Alarm System
I got this car back in October of 2011. The PO failed the mention it had crank cancer. I took it by James of St. Louis SHO and he fixed the cancer. No more problems there. Since buying it I have installed LED tails, Replaced all the A/C lines and condenser, sanded and painted under the battery tray because of a battery acid leak, installed a Hard Button EATC, turned the front rotors, and installed EBC Yellow Stuff pads. This is Kurt Metros old car. That is all I can think of off the top of my head right now. This car has been meticulously maintained and cared for. The interior is spotless and there is NOT a single rip or tear on any of the leather. Carpet and Mats look brand new as well. Needless to say this car is a one of a kind. I truthfully do not want to sell it but I have too many cars and I am moving. Like I said, I have receipts and documentation for everything, even the car on a dyno. I would like the car to go to a well caring adult, but if you want a perfect first car for your kid make sure they treat it right.
The bad:
With all new A/C lines I still have a leak. I found it to be leaking out the shadier valve on the low pressure side. Have not fixed it yet.
________________________________________________________________________________
I got the car in April of 2012. Valve was replaced by Tim (Toolman) before purchase, and A/C worked great on the drive home, eventually leaked out. Took it to an A/C specialist to be inspected, found to be leaking out of evaporator, he suggested trying a stop-leak he has had success with. I applied the stop leak with the knowledge that it may cease my compressor. Everything turned out ok, charged system and the A/C blew cold for the entire summer down here in Louisiana. - Haven't used the A/C since last summer, it has since leaked out, needs a charge, but the leak is slow enough that it should last most of if not all summer. I'm not going to bother charging it right now as it's still cold outside.
Since getting the car I've done the following maintenance:
Spark plugs were replaced by Tim (Toolman) in 04/12.
New battery
Rebuilt Alternator
New wheel hub and bearing on front passenger side.
New valve cover gaskets (rear was leaking)
New Cam sensor (was not failing, but oil was leaking all over it)
Brand new set of tires just installed. (245/45R-17 Continental ExtremeContact DW)
New accessory belts ordered. (Will be installed this weekend)
New fuel filter ordered. (Will be installed this weekend)
The back passenger window did not work when I bought the car, I will be junk yard shopping for a new window motor this week, and will let you know if installed.
The sunroof button is broken, the motor worked fine up until the button broke. Have not fixed.
Also scuffed one of the wheels a bit. Not too bad. (Will post picture this weekend)
Does have a couple of little rattles on the interior thanks to Louisiana roads.
Just found a slight coolant leak. Water pump is dry, I'm guessing lower radiator hose. So I'll be trying to track that down this weekend also.
All in all this car is in just as good shape as when I bought it, if not slightly better. I've only put 7,000 miles on it since I bought it. Car now has 159,200 miles. It has never failed to start and has never left me stranded.
Car is in excellent condition, can be and has been a reliable daily driver. Would feel comfortable driving it anywhere.
I got 19 MPG on my last tank of in town driving.
$3,750 OBO
