Im assuming 94+ spindles are the same on the taurus's, sables, continentals etc.. right?? I got a pair of 94 sable spindles, however, the bearings I got to put in them are to small.. I have oreilly part #513058. Basically, the question is are there identifiying markings on these which can tell me if I EVEN got the right spindle??? BTW I had it shipped from the graveyard. Thanks rant rant

The bearings should measure 1.53" by 3",,or 39mm by 76mm. Can't help you with part numbers of the spindles.

Ford part number for the front hub bearing is E9DZ-1215-A.

Maybe that will help.

that is the correct part number for the wheel bearing...the hub/bearing kit part number is 520100 i just had a friend do the 96 upgrade, and we changed the bearing, so i know that number is correct.... either the bearing you bought was boxed wrong from the manufacturer OR.... you have the wrong spindles, OR the spindle has been worn on the inside where the bearing contacts it.....

hope that helps

on second thought, just for your reference, the spindles DID change in 96... the ones that WILL work for sure are 94/95 taurus/sable, i cannot speak for the continental.....

Thanks for the replies.. Update: It was the right part #, but BOTH boxes were the wrong bearing.. Thats the 2nd time Oreilly has given me the wrong part, definately not a good track record. Anyways, just did an exchange for the correct sizes.. rant
