94 carpet replacement

I am about to replace the carpet with a moulded unit in my 94MTX. Taking the seats out is the easy part but I understand that taking the center console is a real bear. Anyone done it and can give me some tips and warnings.

Well, I was going to park you at Redline's BDA replacement guide ( http://kimjustin.com/bda/bda1.html ) but it appears to be missing. One of the first steps is removing the console.
