Ok, so took the car in and had tranny serviced. Changed the mlp switch and checked everything over. Shifts perfect now except for when I stomp pedal all the way it will not shift into second unless I let off! :O Computer issue??

Like I said earlier, mine had funky issues with the od switch and not downshifting if you went wide open throttle, and for me it turned out the shift solenoids needed to be replaced, might look into that. All shifts are controlled by the computer and activated by solenoids.

the shift solenoids are behind the side cover on the trans, but you have to drop the subframe to get the cover off. I had a shop do it.

with a tweecer, yes you can adjust line pressure, shift points, etc. but if the solenoid is not responding due to being bad or gummed up, the shifts are still not going to happen as they should.

Trans flush and VSS replacement. If that does not solve it you either have a faulty TSS (rare), sloppy selonoid or burnt clutch packs, which equals a rebuild.

Hope that helps man.

thanks all. Talked to transmission shop that just did the other work on it, thinks that before I have the solenoids replaced I should look into checking my Throttle position sensor and a few things that give input to the computer. Said that they ran tests on everything in the tranny and it all turned up good. Think Im going to buy a tweecer, itll be useful either way! :D
