i believe you're reffering to the 'intake couplers'. The ones on the cross over tube are easy to replace!

1) disconnect battery
2) disconnect DIS
3) Remove 2 bolts on top, and loosen up screws on 'couplers'
4) wiggle it off.

Follow steps in reverse for putting it back together.

I have to ask, why are you only concerned with replacing those? Chances are they all should be replaced, but i guess it really depends on what your plans are for the car. Good Luck!

No, he's referring to the coolant crossover tube. There are 2 O rings on it.

The easiest way would be to remove the intake manifold (it's heavy), and remove the water outlet from the front and rear heads, and pull the tube to the driver's side. Removing the water pump to do this would be far more work.

You'd need gaskets for each of the the two water outlets you'll be pulling. I beleve there's a Fel Pro kit that includes the the O rings and water outlet gaskets. I may be mistaken. Check with shosource or RCM. Both are or were forum sponsors.

That stupid thing never wants to come off when I fool with it.. :) Lose the air box, and get it from the thermostat side like was stated and it should go pretty easy for ya.
