93 octane tune expectations

Hello,

Just wondering what AWHP is achieved by different 93 Octane tunes. (Also wouldn't hurt to know what can be relied on year round in Massachusetts)

You planning on other mods or just a tune? There is a handful of tuners you can work with who can adjust their base 93 tune given data feedback, bolt on modifications, and goals. Some are more conservative than others, but the ones you hear about most often on the forum are pretty solid so far. Average hp increase maybe 30-45. Tq increase likely 70-90ft/lb ish...much higher. You will notice in a forced induction car.

In fact, I'm surprised there aren't more engine issues from any of them. I don't know a tuner locally that didn't have some cars have issues or go boom. Not that it's always the tuners fault. Turning up the power can reveal things that were already shakey.

Been plenty of boomed motors on the facebook groups over the last year.

I'd say hp increase is closer to 80 and tq increase is closer to 130 with tune.
