93 ATX front motor mount

well the front motor mount finally gave out at 163K. where is the best place to buy a replacement? anyone know the cost? what kind of job am I looking at? any tips appreciated.

I think you can still buy front mounts for the automatic transmission cars. Try all the usual places. Go to the top of the header in the Forums and get the discount codes for some of the places.

Surprise, surprise - the front mount is discontinued by Ford. You can buy an 'Anchor' aftermarket mount. That will probably do just fine.

...or you can check our any of the forum vendors, they carry replacements.

The cheaper, aftermarket replacements fail much quicker than a Ford mount. If you're not into having the mount reinforced, I'd seek out a good, used Ford mount.
