NO, all of the pins in the PCM are differant and the ATX has tranny controls that the MTX does not, If you wanted to I supost you could rearrange ALL 104 pin to the PCM but you would be there a while!
Thanks Aaron, It wouldn't be the first time I had to move pins on ford ECU connector, but I don't think I'll do that since I'm only looking to troube shoot the harness on the 92 MTX.
A local SHO owner is having problems, stumbling, won't rev up, tons of codes in the ECU. I personally think the cats are clogged. He's going to change the y pipe and then we'll see. If the y pipe doesn't fix it then I want to try a different engine harness.
instead of changing them try taking them out first and running it to see if it fixes it, you might also want to disconect you MASS to see if that helps, the engine will go in to failsafe.
That was the first thing I did. ;-) He already has the y-pipie so it's not like he's wasting money put it on and find out. It would be interesting to hear the SHO opened up though! :corn:
