Rear seat covers have been removed to facilitate shipping. After a charade of misinformation from a potential buyer about the cost of shipping the seats themselves and four hours of box hunting and packaging, the actual UPS cost exceeded $130 ea. I then removed the covers to minimize the shipping cost and the buyer thought my time was his for the asking. Price $75 + shipping from 80501 to all others. Nickel dick $125

My side of the story

Rear seat covers have been removed to facilitate shipping. After a charade of misinformation from a potential buyer about the cost of shipping the seats themselves and four hours of box hunting and packaging, the actual UPS cost exceeded $130 ea. I then removed the covers to minimize the shipping cost and the buyer thought my time was his for the asking. Price $75 + shipping from 80501 to all others. Nickel dick $125

I was the potential buyer and gave him specific instructions, "Wrap the seats in cardboard", "Ship the seats individually", "Finished size is 57"x25"x8" (each), which would cost me $39 each to ship. Then he returns my call telling me it was going to cost $130 each to ship, because he found a box for these to fit in. I then asked him to WRAP in cardboard, not box, knowing full well the size limits with UPS. He tells me he's spent way too much time on this! I then asked him to wrap them in a plastice bag and ship to me, I called UPS to verify this was going to be OK and even offered to send him the bags. He's sick of dealing with these seats, spending too much time on this and not getting paid for his time! Finally, I asked him to remove the seat covers and ship just the covers to me. Knowing that I was going to have to install the covers and modify my back rest for these to fit (I have a 91 back rest). Anyway, he removed the seat covers and said he would ship them to me. I told him they should fit in a 20"x20"x12" box at 15lbs and $15 for shipping. But then he tells me the price of these parts shipped is now $120. I tried to offer a fair price since he was asking $75 obo plus the shipping and he lowers his asking price $10. Then I tried to discuss the price with him and he hangs up on me. I have tried to call him back and he won't return my calls. This would of been a done-deal in the begining if he just would of followed my directions (my requests). It's a shame, because I really would of liked these seats.
