1991 SHO PLUS

This SHO was my son’s daily driver and he has moved on to something newer. It is all original with exception of aluminum sub frame bushings. It’s been off the road for awhile as I was considering taking care of issues. Unfortunately things have changed like no time for it so sadly it needs to go.

This would make a reliable daily driver with some work, or good for parts. I’ld love for her to go to someone who would appreciate it. But I need the room so it’s scheduled to go to the crusher. Best reasonable offer.

I AM BACK !!!

Just got back from Plant City and am a proud owner of a 1990 SHO Black on Black

FL title reads actual miles .... at 77000 ...... the engine purrs like its just off the showroom ... paid more than what I wanted for the car but i bought it do to

A) real bonafied low miles
B)Black paint
C) had most of the stuff i wanted ... etc ... no Sun roof rod shifter...


The bad .... car will need eventually a repaint .... bad rust on the rear passenger side outer wheel well lip .... abs on ... and ac not working but systems seems to be in good shape ... hoping a recharge will do it ... ( ya right )

Car for this low of miles has a very oily oil pan ... and main and cam seals prob leaking.

First order of business is to replace what i consider are the critical coolant hoses .... new T stat ..... new valve cover gaskets and oil well gaskets ( havent checked but sure they are leaking ) .... new cam seals .... front main seal .... freshen all the fluids .. with new ..... new belts .... and tires

last on the agenda is paint ... a radio that works ..... and look into getting ac


Long laundry list ..... but within a year I think I am going to have one dam good looking every day driver !!

thanks toolman .... actually my bad ..... honeslty was so excited that I forgot what thread I was on and .... did the post .... later realizing it i reposted this in a different section.

Just real happy to be back in the SHO family .... and its going to be a long process but plan to make my SHO one of the purtiest SHO's around


My apologys for un intentionally hi jacking this thread .... but in fairness .... maybe my subconscoius was getting even with the poster ..... i told him i wanted a 91 + .... had the cash ... and no responce
