I've searched for more info and feedback on this product. http://www.suvlights.com has a 9007 upgrade harness. Has anyone installed this? Any highs or lows about it? Shorting issues, melted plugs, or even a false "LAMP OUT" situtation? Does a company have an H3 upgrade harness for the fog lamps?

Thanks..

I have the suvlights harness. Works great. There's a couple wires in the glove box that you can clip to get rid of the lamp out for the headlights. The stock fogs are junk and aren't worth upgrading the harness for. Most aftermaket lights are going to come with their own harness that you can wire directly to the battery.

I installed that harness. After refinishing my headlights. The lamp out mod is just a piece of electrical tape over the bulb, at least for me anyway...:nut:

Why does the harness give a false l/o light anyway? I thought it the socket connections were more of an inline system, where you plug the bulb into the new harness then connect the harness' plugs into the factory sockets? I'll have to do some wire clipping to rid the l/o light. Electrical tape is out of the question.

When I did my HID install, my "lamp out" was triggering. My solution was to remove the bulb from the instrument cluster. :)

The light comes on because the harness only connects to one of the sockets, either the left or right side depending on how you mount the harness. The other side is left open.

Still looking for the pics to rehost...

Which brand is the best for Xenon's?
I used Sylvania's and was rather unhappy with them then switched toStreet Glow. in my Camry for years. Pretty good, but the driver side kept burning out due to a faulty repair when the vehicle's front was rebuilt. I'de like to try over brands.

StreetGlow..
Hella..
PIAA..

I'm looking for the best 6-8k bulb. Any suggestions?
