Will a transmission from an 89 SHO fit in a 94?

If you have access to the donor car, take the rod shifter and innermediate exhaust pipe. The rod shifter is far superior to the cable shifter.

All 89-95 MTX tranny's are interchangeable.

As said they will switch. The syncro material is different though.

The synchronizers are the same, the blocking rings are what's different. The early models (89/90) had brass rings versus the later style, fiber lined rings. :thumb:
