I have had this car for about two years and I love it. Due to the fact that between my wife and I we own four vehicles it is time to make a change.
When I first got the car I quickly found out it has a salvage title, something the previous owner failed to mention, so I am letting you know up front. I have had no trouble with anything related to an accident, I haven't car faxed it but I am assuming that the passenger side was side swiped at some point since the fender and both doors are shinier than the rest of the car.
In the first year I replaced:
Timing belt
Crank sensor
Both front wheel bearings
Upgraded shifter cables with SHO Source parts
Cat back exhaust. off brand flowmaster look a like mufflers
In the second year I replaced:
All four struts, springs, mounts
front pads and rotors
rear pads, rotors, calipers
rear p-brake cables
front and rear sway bar links
I installed an upgraded clutch I don't remember the size for certain so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong 9 3/4" Also replaced flywheel to match
both c/v axles
idler pulley bearing and accessory drive belts
radiator
water pump (complete assembly)
new tires have less than 1500 miles on them
rack and pinion
both outer tie rod ends
Somebody replaced the bottom half of the driver's seat and the seat back is not in the greatest condition but it is usable. The dash has some cracks like all of them seem to. The hood struts should be replaced. The moon roof leaks a small amount when it rains really heavy, and the bad seal is causing a slight bind so I don't ever use it but I think if the seal were replaced it would most likely work perfectly. The A/C has been retrofitted by a previous owner I charged it last year and it held for about two months but there are at least two leaks present. It is leaking at the O-rings to the evap core as well as the input shaft seal at the compressor. Some rust has started on the rear quarters just in front of each wheel, I'm not a body repair guy but I think it isn't too late for this one as long as the right person gets it. There is also some rust on the hood, rear deck lid and door bottoms. I know for a fact that this car is an excellent daily driver but I think it is in very restorable condition I hope somebody that has more time than I do gets it. There is little to no rust underneath. Honestly if somebody has the time to clean this car the way it deserves it would probably increase the value considerably. I will post pics here soon if you can't wait then feel free to call or text me I can text you some pictures. I am currently asking 2200 obo you can get ahold of me at 330-340-9798
