Well, I know of a video that was released on the SHO clutch replacement. I was wondering if anyone has the video or a link to the video. I gotta replace the clutch in the 89 here really soon. I figured I would take a glance at the video in order t get myself familiar with it... Any tips and insight on the clutch replacement would be grand,

Thanks

Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement factory clutch? I'm sure this clutch doesn't have the upgraded flywheel/clutch in it. Let me know,

Thanks,

It's easy to tell if you have the 89-91 clutch.
Pull the starter out and look at the pressure plate. If it's a thin stamped piece of steel, you have the "old" 9 1/4 inch clutch.
Throw this in the trash. The flywheel will also need to be changed due to it not having the correct holes for the dowel pins that line up the pressure plate.
You need the "new" 9 3/4 inch clutch.
This clutch has a thick and heavy cast pressure plate. This is the one you want, along with the updated flywheel.

Very well could be the originals in there; my original clutch and small flywheel lasted til 130k in my '89.
