89 instrument cluster

If this has been covered before don't **** me. I can't find it in a search.

I REALLY don't like the 89 instrument cluster. Nothing say 80's like that thing. Can I put/fit the newer style instument cluster in my 89? Basically I need to know if I should buy one or not for my 89.

You would have to swap the complete dash from a 90-91 but that will cause you other issues as they had airbags & ABS! I am sure there will be issues matching electrical plugs so it would all have to be spliced by hand! The 89 is special-none of that crap to get in the way & 89s are lighter. More pass leg room & a one of a kind SHO!

More leg room is cool since iam 79"s tall. Guess I will "deal" with the ugly dash. Thanks
