what will be different/new?
Different IC and dropping it down so it’s no longer in the front grille. (Maybe) something like thisD98025AA C9BA 4223 B300 B7695DF9F49F

Also I’m going to experiment with an alternative splitter concept. I think some canards or winglets ...whatever they’re called would look good too.

As soon as @Jordan_R can get me a custom crash bar I can start playing around with how it might look. I’m going to replace my front bumper cover bc it’s missing a chunk....so the one in the pic above will be what I use for experimenting with. Originally I was thinking to do some painting now....but on second thought....I’ll man handle everything and have fun with it....get the new bumper cover after I have decided on what I’ll do with this one. Then do a fresh paint job on the new cover and the fixed chin spoiler......assemble and leave it. Once something has been freshly painted I try to minimize the amount of handling it will get.

But I want things to be mostly black, I no longer want any silver in my front end other than chrome IC clamps. Like in this pic I blacked out the IC but you can see the clamps. I love this way more than a raw IC. I don’t care if raw is better. Every GH IC is black and no one is complaining. 017C8E4F BE1B 42B7 9D6B AFAB1D4A5E78

I really want to do something crazy like this car I saw on IG. This is my inspiration for the way I would like it to look....lol. There may be fender flares and wider wheels in my future. Lol! If I can get it wider and lower...and run a 10.99 I will be very happy. I just love the wide and low stance on ...everything. C3FDE1A8 03CE 40A7 BBBA E675FBFF9412

The plot thickens so I guess it is possible that leaded 110 octane carrier over into the next oil change and in the sample. Hmmmm...I think it’s rather interesting. Back to waiting to see how the old girl looks. 35D516BB EBC8 4709 9896 397DE6A5906B

There's a pump near my dad's house that is labeled as 110 unleaded. Had major doubts esp. considering the low price, so I asked who they got it from and confirmed directly from the distributor that it definitely IS leaded. From what I can tell the only place that manufactures unleaded 110 octane is Gulf and have no idea where you could even get it. VP also allegedly introduced unleaded extreme 110 octane a few years back but it's not listed on their site anywhere. I've only found it listed for sale on one site and it was like $100/gallon.

I figured the more octane the better and no one said anything when I bought it...like you know this is leaded right? Communication is so hard to come by these days. So I didn’t think about it until I asked for some at the track and they said 110 is leaded.

You entertained going to full e85 at all? Lots of octane there...there's limitations of course. Availability in your area, quality, and of course, the limitations of the LPFP. I will say though, Brad is satisfied with the fuel pressures since adding that BAP...so, for now at least, it's holding.

I’m definitely doing E40 or E50 but with no E85 pumps in my area doing full E85 would be expensive as one 55 gallon drum wouldn’t last long, of which it would be race E85 and not pump. But 55 gallons mixed should last me. I’d like to do the BAP anyway even if not full E85

Yeah availability can be an issue. I've found a station near me that is consistently at least e80 and Brad is keeping the tune dialed in for e75, so I've got some head room. I've thought about going dedicated race e85, but haven't made that commitment level yet, lol.

A perk of using pump e85...my fill ups are less than $35 every time lol...

But damn, those cold starts are a bastard...takes forever on really cold days.

Oh, but I think I'm down to an average 9.8 mpg though lol...

Brad increased crank fuel pressure on mine and it starts right up. I wish I had pump E85 around here, even it wasn’t E60 coming out I’d take it.

Those cold starts are why I don't run E85 in winter lol
It sucks being stock but instant starts in teens and lower is worth it. I get 15-17mpg on E85 and 22-25 on 93

Photos in. And a new twist in the build plans. Matt said the bearings were good, pistons showings signs of over heating and oil consumption...but not too shabby I guess. We’re going to do a full CNC Port on the heads and boundary oil pump gear set. Sent off my intake manifold and phenolic spacer to Matt Pohnan over at Max Performance Automotive today. Shipping was easy, I’ve had a business account with UPS for a little while now. So long as I package it myself, I set it up for them to pick it up, print out a shipping label. Done. Very convenient.

Since the heads are getting ported I thought I should also port the intake manifold....I was just going to do the runners but I ended up giving the go ahead to cut it open and port the entire thing. Then my mind drifted upstream....so got a hold of Lee @ Ortiz Performance and he got me sorted on a BBK throttle body. Thanks @FiveLeeter918

Damn rabbit hole...........
Decided on Candy Purple powder coat on the valve covers. I’m thinking do the intake manifold same. Pic for reference.4CE2F8EC 2E33 4118 ABD0 54C195FF78EC 1F08D4ED 55BB 4225 ABBE 126F8A21DB86
