601 or 598 pads?

I've searched here as well as SHOTIMES and everywhere else, and I find conflicting information. Some sources say the pads for the 96+ setup is 598 and some say 601. I've seen more 598s than 601s but which is it for SURE?

598 is for sure. 601 is the 94-95 size.

If you have the 96 upgrade try to get the 598's they cover more surface area on the rotor. Ford F***'ed up in there part book and list the 601 pads for the 96 and up now. they work, but they don't cover as much surface. If the part counter deweeb try's to say 601 only, have him put in the Lincoln application and it will say 598 and there the same thing.
