-40 Degree and "4.. Ambient temp sensor open or short "

My climate shows OUTSIED "TEMP -40 degree". And a self test shows "4.. Ambient temp sensor open or short". I replaced the sensor (close to the hood lock) and still same problem.

Any thought or experience would be really appreciated!

Did you run the self-test again or is the outside temp still reading -40?
It may also be the wire connecting into the sensor that's the problem.

Have re-run the test. same -40 degree.

By the way, how to test the eletrical connect?
